The purpose of the ARF Resale Store is to support the ARF  Rescue Shelter construction and operations. Worked by an all volunteer staff, the store sells gently used and new clothing and other wearable items such as jewelry and shoes. The resale store also accepts furniture, kitchen equipment, sporting goods, tools and collectibles along with other interesting and unique items. All inventory is donated by our community residents and supporters.

Donations may be dropped off during the hours the store is open. For large furniture items, calling for one of the volunteers or the store manager to pre-approve the drop off is recommended. Call or text Claudia at  (951)288-2321 to arrange an appointment.

There are some items that are not accepted at the store.

We do not take and cannot sell the following items. (Some are liability issues no matter how new or what shape they are in):

Anything with a frayed electrical cord. Look at lamps etc

Large Appliances (washers, dryers, etc.)

Artificial flowers unless new. No plastic flowers.

Cribs, Bassinets or nursery items.

Children’s toys

Curtains unless new

Electronics including computers, monitors, phone systems, printers, etc.

Gas powered tools or items with small engines. We may take these items for a later auction if we can find storage for them. Have the person call or text Terri 208-451-0380. Battery operated tools and electric tools are ok.

Greasy or oily items such as automotive tools. If clean we can take them.

Underwear or socks unless in new in unopened packaging

Used candles

Used cleaning products, aerosols, paint, insecticide etc.
