Programs

ARF has several rescue programs to assist pet owners with the pets they love. Included are:
- Spay/neuter financial assistance through a voucher to the veterinarian clinic.
- Urgent or Emergency Care for Pets available through the veterinarian's office.
- Assistance with pet food through the Pet Food Pantry when a pet owner is low income and a senior citizen, veteran, recieving food stamps or Medicaid, or has an emergency situation causing them to need pet food to feed their pet.
- Low cost microchipping of pets to help get them home if they get lost or stolen.
- Spaying, neutering and vaccinating free roaming community (feral) cats to help keep pet cats healthy.
- Rehoming assistance for pet owners who have to find a new home for their pets.
- Lost and found assistance through posts on ARF's facebook pages.
- Temporary care for dogs in foster homes when they are abused, neglected or abandoned and there are no other options.
All ARF rescue programs are funded by donations from residents, pet owners, businesses, and organizations. Without the generousity of the humans who love and care about the animals in our communities, ARF could not do the work needed to enhance the lives of animals in need.
