Medical Veterinary Voucher Assistance
Medical Assistance is available in emergency or urgent care situations involving pets belonging to low-income owners. Only a veterinarian can make a determination if your pet needs urgent or emergency assistance. To access medical care assistance please call your veterinarian or the veterinarian you would like to have see your pet and explain the situation to them. If the veterinarian believes the situation warrants an immediate appointment, they will tell you to bring the pet into the vet. When you arrive, the veterinarian will provide you with an application for medical veterinary assistance. Medical assistance will be provided in an amount up to $225. The pet owner will have to arrange payment in excess of that amount with the vet clinic.
ARF offers medical assistance one time per year per pet owner.
