Request for Pet Rehoming Assistance / Advertising

ARF will assist when requested to help advertise pets who need a new home. Keeping your pet in its home until a new home is found for the pet is less stressful for the pet than having it go to a shelter or foster care.

THE FEE TO HELP WITH REHOMING THE PET IS $75.00 per animal. The fee must be paid prior to ARF advertising the pet. The fee will include microchipping the pet prior to its going to a new owner. ARF will screen potential adopters, if requested to do so.

You are expected to contact family, friends and advertise on social media to help find a new home or temporary home, if needed, for your pet. ARF can only foster pets if there is a foster home available and a surrender of the pet occurs. A separate agreement and fee applies for pet surrenders.

The owner is responsible for any costs relating to veterinarian appointments for vaccinations or spay/neuter that was agreed upon prior to the adoption of the pet by another family. The owner agrees that they are the responsible party should their pet harm or injure people or other pets of the adoptive family.

Please provide as much detailed information about the pet(s) needing to be rehomed to ensure a good match for a new owner and your pet. Including pictures of your pet(s) is very helpful. Advertising will start once pictures are received.
